Aline Marie is a Kripalu Institute certified 200 hour E-RYT and has been teaching yoga all over the country for the last 12 years. With a bachelors in Fine Art and Illustration from Western Connecticut State University, Aline has blended art with yoga as the orignal creatress of exquisettlely detailed and personal hand painted yoga mats as well as yoga inspired murals and fine art in studios and homes around the world.
Aline teaches yoga to a variety of populations and bases each class on the audience in front of her. She has worked extensively with trauma survivors and challenged kids and teens, children with Autism and on the Autistic Spectrum, students navigating challenges from scoliosis, hip dysplasia, herniated and bulging discs, and everyone mainstream and in between who just want a little more flexibility or some yogic techniques for stress relief. Aline was trained by amazing teachers and along with the experience of over a decade of working with thousands of people she has been able to develop an intuitive teaching style tailored uniquely to whomever she works with.
Currently homebased in Newtown, Connecticut, Aline teaches classes and offers yoga teacher trainings exclusively on her own at different locations through Connecticut and California.
On a Thursday night in 2005 in a high scale restaurant in Westchester County, New York, a bartender-yogini heard the musical talents of a local musican named Marc while she was serving decadent cocktails to the regular live music crowd. The energy his music created in the restaurant was so inspiring and healing she asked if he would try playing for one of her yoga classes. He agreed, it was a hit and Acoustic Asana's was born!
Marc Huberman is an original finger-style, instrumental acoustic guitarist. His roots are from NYC, growing up in the Bronx. He graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a BA in Communications/Theater and Media Arts- Cum Laude. Marc's music has been categorized as thought-provoking, adult contemporary, It is all finger-style guitar; that has influences from new age, world, meditative, spiritual, adult contemporary, blues, jazz, funk, R&B, folk, classical, rock, heavy metal, Latin, Spanish, Indian, African, Asian and Middle Eastern, to name a few... When writing music, he creates tonal passages that intend to take the listener on a journey.
Marc is truly honored to have had notable appearances and supporting spots for the world-famous flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook, The Temptations, John Waite, the wild, swing band-Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, world-renowned saxophone legend, David Sanborn and the late "Big Man" Clarence Clemens. He has also had the pleasure of entertaining fourteen-time Grammy award winning Producer and music mogul- the late Phil Ramone and the late-famed Composer & Conductor-Skitch Henderson; who are inspirations to him.
His latest endeavor involves writing score for an upcoming documentary, scheduled for international distribution and performing wth accomplished flutist, Deborah Gillespie.
